These lenses are designed to provide good vision for distance and near. They reduces dependency on glasses for distance, intermediate & near activities like reading, viewing text on computer screen and mobile or watching movie after cataract surgery. However about 10% of patients complain of haloes after implantation of these IOLs. patients instead of 10% of patients for glare and haloes.
